At Wingate, Russotti, Shapiro, Moses & Halperin, LLP, we are on the cusp of summer here in New York City and have been catching up on some much-needed reading. For two weeks now, we’ve had the amazing opportunity to learn about the outstanding youth of this up-and-coming generation. Students, you inspired us as we reviewed all of your applications submitted to our fourth annual Foundation For Your Future Scholarship. After an intense review process, we are now ready to announce the finalists!

Each applicant was required to write a 500-to-1,000-word essay about an individual who inspired them. Almost immediately after announcing the scholarship on April 27, 2021, we received an amazing amount of support from applicants all across the country about the unique, amazing individuals motivating them to pursue their goals.
Through your essays, we not only learned of these mentors’ challenges, strong spirits, and tenacity, but how you want to shape the future. Your essays were truly impressive, and we are grateful we had the chance to read them.
The Foundation For Your Future Scholarship was inspired by WRSH’s founder, William Wingate, who was a champion of his local community. Following in his example, we will award one finalist a $2,500 scholarship on June 3, 2021. We cannot wait to add one of your names to the growing list of Foundation For Your Future winners! The announcement will be made on our blog and Facebook, so make sure to check back for additional updates.
