Prior to joining the firm, he handled a diverse array of cases, including those involving motor vehicle accidents, construction accidents, premises liability, train derailments, municipal liability, nursing home negligence, wrongful death, as well as both medical and legal malpractice. He has also practiced appellate work and successfully argued before the Appellate Division, First Department in Ebalo v Trustees of Columbia Univ., 192 A.D.3d 626 (1st Dept 2021) and Salodkaya v City of New York, 193 A.D.3d 604 (1st Dept 2021).
Mr. Wanger’s knowledge extends into the technical and scientific aspects of various brain imaging modalities used to objectively demonstrate brain injury, including MRI with diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), brain volumetric analysis, PET scans, and quantitative EEG (qEEG). He also has experience leveraging experts from various fields, such as imaging neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, neurology, neuropsychology, neuroradiology, psychiatry, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, epidemiology, biomechanics, and neuro-optometry.
Beyond science and medicine, Mr. Wanger understands the unique challenges that brain-injured victims face and the burden it can place on family and friends. It is this understanding, coupled with his technical insights, that has led to his past success.
Andrew was born and raised in New York. He graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2013. He currently resides in Nassau County with his wife and two boys.
