Fall from a Ladder - Construction Accident
Attorneys, Kenneth Halperin and Frank J. Lombardo obtained a settlement in the amount of $250,000.00 during the discovery phase of litigation. The case was handled through discovery by attorney, Frank Lombardo. Plaintiff, 27 years old, was an electrician and fell from a ladder while pulling "riser cables" during a complete renovation of a ten story apartment building. The plaintiff was on a six foot A frame ladder when it moved and collapsed causing the plaintiff to fall to the concrete floor. The plaintiff sustained a full thickness tear of the anterior talofibular ligament of the left ankle requiring arthroscopic surgery. The plaintiff returned to work full time.
