New York Construction Accident - Concrete Worker Injury
While summary judgment motions were pending, WRSMH attorneys Carmine J. Goncalves and Erin K. Hurley reached a $2.345 million settlement for our client, a concrete worker from Brazil. Our client was struck by falling plywood and 2x4s from improperly constructed concrete decking, which knocked him to the ground. He sustained lumbar disc herniations, which required lumbar fusion surgery, and also underwent surgery to his left elbow for a nerve release.
