Our client was injured as he was attempting to remove a large nail from the ceiling. The ladder he was working on suddenly moved and fell, causing him to fall to the floor onto his back. He injured his back, neck, both knees, both shoulders, his hip, and his head. He suffered torn meniscus requiring surgery in both knees, SLAP tears in both shoulders requiring surgery, and cervical and lumbar disc herniations for which he received injections and two lumbar spine surgeries. The case settled while summary judgment motions were pending.
