The plaintiff, a 44-year-old laborer, was working inside a room installing a metal insert in a chimney when a brick fell, striking him on the head. The plaintiff underwent a two-level cervical fusion and a one-level lumbar fusion. The plaintiff also suffered from post-concussion syndrome.
