NY Construction Accident
Wingate, Russotti, Shapiro, Moses & Halperin, LLP attorney Carmine Goncalves reached a settlement agreement in the amount of $1.4 million dollars for our client after WRSMH attorney Erin Hurley's motion for summary judgment on liability was granted.
Our client was injured on a construction site as he was climbing down a metal scaffold that was wet and slippery from rain. He slipped and fell, falling approximately fifteen feet to the ground below. As a result of his injuries, our client required arthroscopic surgery to repair a superior labrum anterior to posterior (SLAP) tear of his right shoulder, arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn meniscus, and a lumbar nerve transection procedure. He made a good recovery.
