Lip Injury and Loss of Teeth
The plaintiff, a 30 year old woman, was involved in a motor vehicle accident as an unrestrained passenger in which she sustained a laceration to her upper lip, two areas of hypopigmentation, and the loss of two teeth following the accident. The plaintiff was treated by a plastic surgeon but did not require surgical intervention. At Court ordered mediations, the defendants offered $25,000 to settle the matter. WRSMH attorney, Michael Fitzpatrick, settled for $120,000 at jury selection in New York County Supreme Court.
