Apartment Building Failed to Clean Up Debris on the Floor
WRSMH attorney, Michael J. Fitzpatrick recently obtained a $200,000.00 recovery for a man who fell in his apartment building. The plaintiff, a 60 year old man tripped and fell over the staircase bannister in his building. The fall was caused by the building's failure to clean up debris on the floor by the stairs and a defective, improperly secured bannister. The plaintiff sustained left wrist nerve damage resulting in reduced muscle strength in his non dominant hand and persistent numbness in both hands which were treated non-operatively.
