Motor Vehicle Accident - $560,000 Settlement
Our client, a 57 year old former superintendent of a rehabilitation facility at the time of the incident, was operating his motor vehicle when he was involved in an accident with a large commercial truck. We argued that the truck was making an illegal left turn from a non-turning lane to the right of our client's vehicle, which was travelling in the left most lane and proceeding straight. The impact pinned our client's car between the defendant's vehicle and a concrete divider.
Our client suffered an onset aggravation of neck and back herniations and radiculopathy and was forced to undergo surgical intervention in the form of an anterior cervical disckectomy. We also argued diminished future earning capacity due this accident. The matter was on the trial calendar in the Bronx.
