WRSMH attorney Michael Fitzpatrick secured a settlement of $2.3 million for a Plaintiff, 44-year-old immigrant who was a passenger in a sedan which was sideswiped by a commercial delivery truck on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn, NY. The incident resulted in the plaintiff being taken by ambulance to Jamaica Hospital. His treatment continued and lead to conservative treatment for his back, neck, left shoulder and right knee before he was forced to undergo left shoulder surgery, knee surgery, and a lumbar fusion.
The matter was on the trial calendar in Kings County and was settled for $2.3 million while plaintiff’s motion for summary judgment was pending.
