WRSMH attorney William Hepner settled this case at a mediation for $2 million. Plaintiff was injured when the motorized scaffold he was on jerked toward the facade of a brick building due to being lifted unevenly as a result of improperly piled bricks. Our client fell into the wall but did not fall off of the scaffold. The defendants claimed the plaintiff caused his accident by failing to set up the lift properly. Plaintiff continued to work for a month but his pain from his injuries increased and he had to stop. He had a cervical spine fusion, as well as arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery.
