Vehicle Accident - Construction Site Accident
Our client, a 63-year-old engineer, was working on the Belt Parkway (Brooklyn) when he was struck by a construction vehicle backing out of a construction site on that same roadway.
The plaintiff suffered a fractured vertebra requiring a kyphoplasty, which is the surgical filling of an injured or collapsed vertebra. The plaintiff had 15 years of prior back complaints. This matter was successfully settled by WRSMH attorney Michael Fitzpatrick for $600,000 at jury selection in Kings County (Brooklyn) Supreme Court.
