Wingate, Russotti, Shapiro, Moses & Halperin, LLP attorney Ashley Jacoby secured a settlement of $2,000,000.00 for a 49-year-old Brooklyn man as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on the Brooklyn Queens Expressway. Defendants claimed that our client caused the accident by merging lanes in front of defendant’s vehicle at the last minute while the plaintiff argued he was struck in the rear. The plaintiff underwent a lumbar fusion and shoulder arthroscopy. Despite the issues of fact, defendants agreed to settle at a second mediation.
