$200,000 Recovery in Premises Liability Case

Premises Liability - Apartment Fall Injury

A 40 year old livery car driver was injured when he missed a step ascending a flight of stairs in the home in which he rented an apartment. The plaintiff had complained to the landlord about the hallway lights being out for six days prior to the date of the accident. The landlord denied this. The plaintiff underwent two epidural injections and a percutaneous discectomy. WRSH associate, Michael Fitzpatrick settled the matter just prior to jury selection for $200,000.00.
