Congratulations to WRSMH attorney Jay Wechsler, who recently settled a case for $710,000. Jay’s client was a passenger in a vehicle who was struck by a tractor-trailer in a contested side-swipe collision. He suffered injuries to his neck and back, which required surgery. The tractor-trailer had a limited insurance policy of $1,000,000, and there were two other plaintiffs. Jay made a motion for summary judgment and was able to settle this case with a challenging fact pattern while the motion was pending.
