Ankle Fracture Requiring Surgery
WRSMH attorney Noah Katz obtained a $300,000 settlement for a 37 years old woman walking along a Brooklyn sidewalk in front of defendants' premises on her way home from work when she slipped and fell on a mixture of ice and grease. Noah proved through testimony and photographs that the ice and grease were caused by the employees of the restaurant which occupied the storefront space, disposing of refuse the day before the incident. Plaintiff sustained a fractured ankle which required surgery. Noah successfully settled the case for $300,000 during mediation.
