Brain Damaged Infant
Plaintiff was the second born twin. Following delivery of the first twin, the fetal heart monitor showed signs of fetal distress. We claimed that the baby should have been delivered by emergency C-Section or forceps delivery. The obstetrician allowed normal vaginal delivery to continue and the baby was born neurologically impaired. He was ultimately diagnosed with cerebral palsy and spastic quadriparesis.
