WRSMH was able to obtain a settlement in the amount of $425,000 on behalf of our client, a 30-year-old woman from Staten Island. Our client was pulled over for a routine traffic stop when the police officer mistakenly left his vehicle in gear, causing it to crash into our client’s vehicle. As a result of the accident, our client suffered injuries to her left wrist including torn fibrocartilage, which required surgery. The firm was able to obtain a decision from the Court that the officer was 100% responsible for causing the collision, without even having to go to trial on the issue. Prior to trial, the firm was able to settle the case for the amount of $425,000.
