Congratulations to WRSMH attorney Jay Wechsler, who recently settled a case for $3,100,000 — plus a waiver of $350,000 of the $450,000 workers' compensation lien. Jay's client was a 32-year-old construction worker working as a laborer on a construction site when he was struck by falling plywood. The client suffered cervical herniations, which required surgery. Jay made a motion for summary judgment and was able to settle this case after mediation.
