New York Construction Accident
WRSMH attorney Noah Katz settled a matter on behalf of our client, a non-union construction worker who was struck by a single pipe that was left unattended and leaning against a wall. As a result of the incident, our client sustained spinal injuries resulting in surgery and a brain/head injury resulting in his inability to return to work for a period of time. We were successful in demonstrating that the pipe was required to be secured and/or safely placed so that it would not fall into the plaintiff's work area. This matter settled for $3.5 million prior to trial.
