Pedestrian Knocked Down While Crossing Street
WRSMH attorney Eric L. Horn secured a settlement of $150,000 on behalf of a 80 year old female client who was struck down by the defendants motor vehicle while crossing a New York City street. As a result of the contact, the client sustained 6 fractured ribs, fractured left maxillary sinus and head injury. The defendant’s contend that our client caused the accident. Mr. Horn was able to negotiate a settlement with defendant's attorney at the time of a pretrial settlement conference. Mr. Horn argued that the defendants were negligent in failing to keep a reasonable careful lookout for pedestrians and failed to use reasonable care under the circumstances.
