Konstantin Burshteyn secured a $2,766,000 dollar settlement for our client who was a back seat passenger in a car that was sideswiped by a slow-moving vehicle which was exiting a parking spot in New York City. Despite what appeared to be contested liability, Konstantin was able to obtain summary judgment against all of the defendants on the issue of liability.
The impact caused our client to sustain injuries to his left shoulder, neck, and back requiring surgical intervention. Defendants contested the case based on the causation of our client’s injuries as well the severity of his damages, since he returned to work full-time following his surgeries and had limited lost wages.
