WRSMH attorney Konstantin Burshteyn secured a $900,000 settlement for a client who was involved in a motor vehicle accident in Staten Island, New York. Our client was the driver of a car stopped in traffic when she was struck by a vehicle making a wide left turn. Our client injured her shoulder and her lower back as a result of the crash. She ultimately underwent arthroscopic surgery on her shoulder and a pain management procedure on her lower back.
The defendants argued that the impact was light and our client's vehicle had minimal property damage. The defendants also contested that the damages were limited since our client did not miss any time from work and suffered no lost wages. Konstantin resolved the case on the eve of trial, as he and the defense counsel appeared in the New York State Supreme Court to pick a jury.
