Douglas A. Milch, of counsel for WRSMH, recently obtained a $975,000.00 settlement on behalf of our client, a 29-year-old Kings County resident. Our client was driving in a left-turn-only lane in Brooklyn when the defendant’s vehicle made an abrupt left turn into our client’s lane, causing a serious collision. As result of the accident, our client suffered injuries to his neck, which required surgery. The case settled during negotiations, after Douglas was able to establish that the defendant driver had violated basic safety protocol by failing to properly scan his rearview mirrors prior to attempting to make a left turn.
