New York Vehicle Accident
Congratulations to Wingate, Russotti, Shapiro, Moses & Halperin attorney Jay Wechsler, who recently settled a motor vehicle case for $1,350,000. Jay’s client was a passenger in the front seat of a vehicle that was struck by a garbage truck. There was a video showing the collision was low-speed and caused minimal damage to the vehicle Jay’s client was in. Jay’s client suffered a herniated disc in her neck which required a one-level cervical fusion and a herniated disc in her back which required a one-level lumbar laminectomy/discectomy. The case was settled after a pre-trial mediation.
