NY Car Accident
Congratulations to Wingate, Russotti, Shapiro, Moses & Halperin, LLP attorney Jay Wechsler, who recently settled a motor vehicle case for $900,000. Jay’s client was an Uber Eats driver who was going to pick up a delivery, when a forklift, which was parked on the right side of the road, began to move and struck her vehicle, as she was passing it.
The impact was to the passenger side of her car. The Defendant driver stated that the Plaintiff tried to squeeze into a tight space and caused the accident. We countered this by procuring evidence establishing that the accident was more likely to have occurred based upon the Plaintiff’s version of the accident. Jay’s 53-year-old client suffered injuries to her neck, which required a cervical fusion.
