Truck Accident
Cliff Shapiro and another WRSMH attorney were able to settle a case for the amount of $3,000,000 on behalf of a 45 year old delivery man from Queens. The man was driving his vehicle along a local roadway in Brooklyn when a large truck crashed into his vehicle, resulting in a serious collision. Because of the accident, our client suffered serious injuries to his neck and lower back which required surgery. Unfortunately he continued to suffer from an inability to work on a fulltime basis even after undergoing surgery and extensive treatment. As part of our pre-trial litigation work, the firm was able to win a decision that the defendants were 100% at fault for causing the collision because of their careless driving, and that our client did nothing wrong. Just before the start of trial in this case, Cliff and another WRSMH attorney were able to negotiate this substantial settlement.
