Wingate, Russotti, Shapiro, Moses & Halperin, LLP recently settled a case for $350,000 prior to trial for a client who was injured when he was struck by a motor vehicle while in an intersection.
The plaintiff, age 50, suffered shoulder and knee injuries and had to have his knee surgically repaired as a result of the accident.
If the case had gone to trial, the firm would have argued that the defendants were responsible for causing the collision. The firm was able to obtain the settlement offer days before the trial was scheduled to start.
