New York Construction Accident - Trip and Fall

Douglas A. Milch, attorney at WRSMH, recently obtained an $850,000 settlement on behalf of his client, a 43-year-old Queens construction worker who injured his ankle and knee in a trip and fall accident at a New York City construction site. Douglas was able to obtain the settlement after establishing that the accident was caused by the jobsite’s failure to secure a wooden plank, which gave way while the client was walking. The accident required the client to undergo an ankle and knee arthroscopy to repair meniscal and partial tibiofibular ligament tears.
