Congratulations to WRSMH attorney Jay Wechsler, who recently settled a case for $500,000. Jay’s client was a 21-year-old construction worker who was working as a laborer/cleaner at a construction site in Manhattan. On his first day on the job, he fell from a ladder and suffered a torn ligament to his ankle which required surgery. The client made an excellent recovery and has since moved out of state and returned to work. Jay was able to settle the case before discovery was completed.
