Bike Accident
WRSMH was able to obtain a settlement in the amount of $750,000 on behalf of our client, a 50-year-old man from Queens County. Our client was pedaling a bicycle along the street in Manhattan when a livery taxi pulled out of a parking space and struck him. As a result of the collision, our client suffered injuries to his knee and shoulder that required surgery. The defendant driver claimed that our client caused the collision by traveling at an excessive speed and driving around various stopped vehicles. The firm was able to identify and locate two eyewitnesses who corroborated our client’s version of the collision. Prior to trial, the firm was able to settle the case for the amount of $750,000.
