WRSMH attorney Konstantin Burshteyn secured a $950,000 settlement for our client who was involved in a motor vehicle accident in Nassau County.
Our client, a 72-year-old woman, was operating her vehicle when she t-boned the defendant’s car, which was making a left-hand turn in front of her. As a result of the crash, our client sustained a number of fractured ribs and a lower back injury which ultimately required her to undergo a L4-L5 lumbar fusion.
Defendants argued that our client was responsible for causing the crash by failing to stop her vehicle and that her pre-existing back injuries caused her to have surgery.
Konstantin resolved the matter during a private mediation while waiting for a trial date in Nassau County.
