Attorney Stephen D. Wagner III obtained a $945,000 settlement for a 57-year-old Brooklyn woman who slipped and fell in her apartment when her landlord did not timely repair a leaking ceiling. As a result of the incident, the plaintiff underwent a neck fusion surgery. The defendant contended that the plaintiff was at least partially responsible for the fall. However, Stephen successfully convinced the court that the defendant was 100% responsible and obtained summary judgment on our client’s behalf. The case was settled the following week.
