Within weeks of joining WRSMH, Catherine secured a mid-trial settlement of $1.25 million for a young father who was injured as a result of a ceiling collapse, more than doubling the defendants’ pre-trial offer. She has consistently tried complex, high-exposure cases throughout her career and brings a well-developed understanding of litigation strategy informed by experience on both sides of the aisle. Her work reflects a disciplined, trial-focused approach and a sustained record of success in New York courts.

Catherine’s expertise extends to construction litigation. She has been named a Rising Star in construction litigation and has published articles addressing the strategic handling of catastrophic construction injury cases. She has also lectured on complex construction litigation topics, including grave injury claims, contractual indemnification considerations, and the tactical management of high-exposure cases. Catherine has tried both liability and damages-only Labor Law construction accident cases to verdict, in addition to prevailing through dispositive motion practice and securing substantial settlements.

Catherine’s dedication to her clients goes beyond the courtroom. In addition to regularly volunteering in New York City, she is involved in legislative advocacy efforts in Albany with the New York State Trial Lawyers Association to promote safer laws for all New Yorkers. As a proud Brooklyn native, first-generation Italian American, and lifelong athlete, her connection to New Yorkers is personal and enduring. For Catherine, litigation is not solely about financial recovery. It is about accountability, dignity, and justice. She is deeply committed to protecting the rights of injured New Yorkers and standing beside them during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
