Premises Liability - Trip and Fall
The firm was able to obtain a settlement of $390,000 for our client, a 59-year- old tourist who was injured during a trip to New York City. The plaintiff tripped and fell in a pedestrian walkway in Times Square on a cracked sidewalk and suffered an injury to her hip, requiring surgery. The defendants claimed that the sidewalk was reasonably safe and that medical records indicated our client had been drinking alcohol at the time of the accident. The firm took the case to trial and was able to overcome the defense’s arguments, obtaining a settlement of $390,000 during trial.
