Construction Accident - Work Injury
WRSMH attorney David M. Hoffman was able to obtain a settlement in the amount of $1,600,000 for a 49-year-old man who was injured in an accident at a construction site. The incident occurred while a gut-renovation of a building was being performed. The plaintiff, a construction worker in the course of his employment, sustained serious injuries when a ladder from which he was working shook, shifted, and fell over, causing the plaintiff to fall to the floor. No safety devices were present to prevent his fall. As a result of this incident, the plaintiff suffered injuries to his neck, back, and wrist, and required spinal surgery and wrist surgery.
