Attorney Frank J. Lombardo obtained a settlement during the discovery phase of litigation. The plaintiff, 30 years old, was a laborer who fell from a six-foot fiberglass, A-Frame ladder while installing drop ceiling tracks. While the plaintiff was on the ladder, it shook and collapsed, causing him to fall.

The plaintiff sustained a closed reduction oblique fracture of the left wrist, requiring him to wear a cast for six weeks and undergo a subsequent carpal tunnel release surgery. He made an excellent recovery without any residual injury and returned to work almost immediately after the accident.
