WRSMH attorney David M. Hoffman obtained a settlement in the amount of $2,750,000.00 for a 56-year-old construction worker who was injured when he was caused to fall six feet off a ladder at a construction site. The plaintiff was performing demolition work on an A-frame ladder inside of a building under renovation. No safety devices were present to prevent his fall. As a result of this incident, the plaintiff suffered serious injuries to his head, neck, lower back, knee, and wrist, and required cervical spinal surgery, arthroscopic knee surgery, and wrist surgery. David managed to successfully settle this matter prior to the holding of depositions.
