Kathleen Kettles is a partner and head of Medical Malpractice and Drug Liability litigation. During her tenure, the firm has become extremely successful in the prosecution of complex cases and settling or winning verdicts because of her high level of attention to detail in all phases of the litigation. Kathy prosecutes some of the most difficult medical and drug cases the firm handles. Over her 34 years of experience in these specialties, the practice has become very sophisticated, requiring the ability to understand the medical issues and complex causation problems which a case may encompass. Because of her expertise, she can engage defendant healthcare providers and experts at their level of expertise during deposition and trial. Kathy is very proud of the consistently superior results the firm receives for their clients. Kathy was included in the ranking for 2013 New York Top 1% Trial Counsel for Medical Malpractice Plaintiff Attorneys and has been named to Super Lawyers for Plaintiff’s Medical Malpractice ever year from 2015 to 2021. Kathy has also successfully argued for the firm on important appellate issues. She is a trained and skilled mediator and has been appointed to the roster of civil mediators for New York State in family, civil, and commercial matters.

Wingate, Russotti, Shapiro, Moses & Halperin, LLP, understand the great need to limit the spread of COVID-19 through social distancing and safe health practices in order to protect our clients, our staff, and our fellow New Yorkers. Our team has complied with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s request to remain indoors during this difficult time and to minimize close contact with at-risk individuals.

However, while the state of New York is on PAUSE, the hardworking legal team at Wingate, Russotti, Shapiro, Moses & Halperin, LLP, is still devoted to serving our clients’ needs. We have set up our employees to work remotely and to handle all ongoing cases from home. We are available to respond to any emails or calls about your case and are still actively pursuing compensation from at-fault parties.

In addition, we are always accepting new clients over the phone, by email, or through our contact form, and we are available to schedule a free consultation by video call. If you have a personal injury case and need compassionate and experienced representation, do not let Covid-19 stop you from pursuing compensation. Our attorneys are readily available to discuss all your legal options with you and will ensure all deadlines are met.

Despite the struggles of the past month, we have not forgotten about our duty to defend the rights of our fellow New Yorkers and are ready to face any challenges as they come. Come rain or shine, we are here to represent your interests when you need us most.
