Kathleen Kettles is a partner and head of Medical Malpractice and Drug Liability litigation. During her tenure, the firm has become extremely successful in the prosecution of complex cases and settling or winning verdicts because of her high level of attention to detail in all phases of the litigation. Kathy prosecutes some of the most difficult medical and drug cases the firm handles. Over her 34 years of experience in these specialties, the practice has become very sophisticated, requiring the ability to understand the medical issues and complex causation problems which a case may encompass. Because of her expertise, she can engage defendant healthcare providers and experts at their level of expertise during deposition and trial. Kathy is very proud of the consistently superior results the firm receives for their clients. Kathy was included in the ranking for 2013 New York Top 1% Trial Counsel for Medical Malpractice Plaintiff Attorneys and has been named to Super Lawyers for Plaintiff’s Medical Malpractice ever year from 2015 to 2021. Kathy has also successfully argued for the firm on important appellate issues. She is a trained and skilled mediator and has been appointed to the roster of civil mediators for New York State in family, civil, and commercial matters.
