About Joseph Stoduto

Joseph Stoduto has personally handled numerous high-profile cases in both state and federal court, including cases stemming from the Staten Island Ferry Crash, cases against Toyota relating to vehicle malfunction, and numerous cases brought pursuant to the Federal Tort Claims Act. He has won numerous appeals in the Appellate Divisions and has had judicial decisions published in connection therewith.

He is also active with various community-based organizations and is a participant in the New York State Court System’s Volunteer Attorney Program.

In addition to his numerous significant settlements and verdicts, Mr. Stoduto has handled a large number of successful appeals in the courts of the New York State Appellate Division.

Vidor v. 6 Jones Street Associates (grant of the defendant’s motion to dismiss the case reversed by the appellate court; Complaint reinstated)

Pivetz v. Brusco (denial of Mr. Stoduto’s motion for summary judgment on the issue of liability reversed by the appellate court; defendant determined 100% liable for accident)

Moreira v. M.K. Travel (grant of Mr. Stoduto’s motion for summary judgment on the issue of liability affirmed by the appellate court; defendant’s appeal denied)

Webb v. Keyspan Corp. (grant of the defendant’s motion to dismiss the case reversed by the appellate court; Complaint reinstated)
