About Enrique Guerrero
Early in his law career, Enrique realized that many immigrant clients had legal difficulties beyond their immigration status. A multitude of clients injured at work or commuting between their homes and their work would hesitate to procure emergency medical care, report accidents to the police, make claims against municipal agencies, or complain about dangerous conditions in their rented residences. Enrique decided to help these people in need. As a recent example of his past successes, in August of 2010 Enrique helped a legal immigrant client obtain a monetary award of US$ 2,200,000.00 (two million two hundred thousand dollars) for injuries sustained due to a fall from scaffolding at a construction site.
Enrique became a licensed attorney in the states of New York and New Jersey in 1998. Although he was born in New York City, Enrique lived in the Dominican Republic for four years during his childhood. In 1989, Enrique graduated valedictorian from the prestigious New York Military Academy in Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York. He went on to obtain an electrical engineering degree from Rensselaer in Troy, New York in 1994 and a law degree from Ohio Northern University in 1997. Enrique speaks fluent Spanish and remains keenly aware of the special needs of immigrant clients.
Enrique resides with his wife and daughter in Guttenberg, New Jersey. He travels often to his native Dominican Republic to visit his extended family. Enrique continues to practice personal injury law in New York City.
